From branded-only search to 220 non-branded rankings in Google's top 10, in under three months.

AeroFlow Filters had the right products for a high-intent trade market, spray booth operators, HVAC contractors and industrial facilities, but almost no organic footprint. The products matched the market. Google just couldn't see them.

AeroFlow ranked for its own brand name and little else. The commercial searches its buyers actually use, "g4 filter", "spray booth filters", custom-cut media, drove impressions but almost no clicks, and thin domain authority made competitive terms a longer game.

  • 688 non-branded commercial queries produced 12,539 impressions but only 35 clicks.
  • "g4 filter" earned 2,025 impressions at position ~11, a 0.35% click-through rate.
  • A Domain Rating of just 7 on a shallow backlink profile.
  • None of the 20 priority commercial keywords ranked in the top 100 at the start.
  • Conversion tracking recorded form fills but never tied them to revenue, so ROI was invisible.

Foundation first, built on data.

Product-first on-page SEO

Rewrote titles, meta descriptions and copy for high-impression, low-CTR product pages, led by the G4 media range and the page-one Andreae filter page, and added product schema to qualify them for rich results.

A commercial content engine

Produced expert articles on AeroFlow's core categories, paint pocket exhaust filters, fibreglass versus synthetic media, Andreae concertina filters, structured with question-led headings to win featured snippets and AI Overviews, then interlinked them into the priority category and product pages.

An honest measurement foundation

Set up tracking for 20 priority commercial keywords, recommended bot filtering to clean the analytics, and prioritised fixing conversion and ecommerce tracking so SEO could finally be tied to real enquiries.

The gains were qualified, not vanity: organic visitors engaged at 53.2% against a 41.1% site average; product rich results and merchant listings (a 45.2% click-through rate) became a major share of clicks; and the custom-cut G4 page grew sessions around 1,600%, confirming a made-to-size product angle worth building the offer around.
